5 Shopify updates that you need to know about that’ll boost customer loyalty

This is without doubt the update I’m most excited to see. Building a strong customer base that generates recurring revenue is every brands dream. For a few years I’ve been a big advocate of ReCharge a third-party Shopify app which I view as the market leader. It’s an app i’ve personally implemented across a few Shopify stores. With this update, businesses can now offer their products on subscription, allowing customers the convenience of regularly scheduled deliveries without the hassle of reordering every time. This not only ensures a steady stream of revenue but also fosters a deeper sense of loyalty among subscribers. Customers can easily pause or skip orders, update payment and shipping details, and manage their subscriptions, making it a flexible and customer-centric offering. This functionality is perfect for those businesses in the beauty and wellness space.

Shopify's analytics dashboard has had a snazzy update building on one of my favourite reports, the Cohort Analysis Report, an exciting tool that provides brand owners and eCom teams with deeper insights into their customer base. It now has the ability to filter by first order attributes, such as sales and marketing channels, and including specific customer criteria like location, businesses can gain a more granular view of their cohort analysis. This empowers them to make data-driven decisions and tailor their marketing strategies to specific customer segments.
